Ida Winter, Asana & Alignment

Ida has been practicing yoga since 1996 and has practiced many different styles over the years but is most influenced by her studies at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts, her studies with Bihar School of Yoga Instructor Swami Maheshananda, UK-based instructor Sama Fabian and former Anusara Yoga instructors Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes. Ida completed her 250-hr teacher training at Moksana, her 500-hr teacher training at Kripalu, as well as completing all 6 of the Anusara trainings and most recently the official yogahour® training with Darren Rhodes. Ida is an E-RYT500 registered yoga teacher and owner and managing director of the Centre.

Misha Butot, Ethics and Psychology

Michèle (Misha) Butot, RCSW, E-RYT 500, is a registered clinical social worker, with over twenty years of experience, specializing in women’s mental health and palliative care. Misha began teaching yoga in 1998, subsequently receiving advanced training in yoga nidra. Her practice is influenced by classical yoga, Advaita and Kashmir Shaivism, and has as its primary goal an embodied recognition of the inherent wholeness and spaciousness of our True Nature. Misha’s teaching interests include yoga philosophy, psychology & ethics; restorative & back health; nondual meditation & yoga nidra; and meeting pain, dying & death from a yogic perspective.

Adele Worobey, Meditation, Teaching Methodology

Adele Worobey has been interested in yoga and spiritual exploration from a young age. Her interest has led her to many styles and teachers of yoga, meditation and spiritual thought. In recent years, her practice has brought great change in her life, inspiring her to share her experience with others. She completed the MokSana Teacher Training Program in the spring of 2005 and finds the honour of sharing the benefits of yoga with others a natural complement to practice as a counsellor and her love of the outdoors.

Dr. Carrie Watkins, BSc, ND, Western Anatomy


Carrie is a Naturopathic Doctor, Yoga Teacher and Educator. She obtained her Bachelor of Science at McGill University with a focus in Wildlife and Plant Biology and is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Dr. Watkins has spent many years leading health education and wellness programs in hospital, corporate and community settings.
