Yoga Teacher Training
250-hr Yoga Teacher Training Program (RYT®200)
Due to the covid pandemic, any future teacher trainings are suspended.
Our Yoga Teacher Training Programs offer you:
MokSana’s Yoga Teacher Training Program is the longest-running 200hr Yoga Alliance-registered program in Victoria (since 2002). We have trained hundreds of teachers who are now teaching all over Victoria, BC, Canada and beyond. Our 300hr advanced teacher training program has been registered with Yoga Alliance since 2019.
Our highly experienced teacher training team has an average of 17 years’ experience practicing yoga, 12 years’ experience teaching yoga and 13 years’ experience training people to become yoga teachers. Each instructor teaches what they are experts in and the result is a unique program not created elsewhere.
We believe each student should have the freedom to be unique. You will find that MokSana Yoga Center respects these qualities of acceptance, non-judgment, and balance. We do not impose a particular style or one way of teaching. Our graduates gain the teaching skills to be able to teach whatever style of yoga they are drawn to whether that is hatha, flow, restorative, yin, private sessions, corporate yoga, teaching yoga to kids in school, etc. You can trust our program to bring out your inner teacher.
MokSana is one of Victoria’s oldest (since 2001) and most successful yoga studios. As part of the program, you will get the opportunity to learn from observing the style of yoga classes/teachers you are interested in, complete a practicum with one of our fantastic teachers and co-teach with them, as well as teach weekly community classes for up to 6 months after completing the program.
“All of the teachers had so much wisdom to share and were passionate about the studio and the practice of yoga.”
“Thank you to Ida and all the other incredible teachers who put their efforts, heart, and compassion into this program and for being available and willing to share and help us on our journeys! You have helped me more than you know!”
