Community Matters at MokSana.

We are deeply grateful to the Lekwungen people of the Songhees Nation who have shared this land, and our building, with the people of Victoria.

We are deeply humbled by the support and enthusiasm we continue to receive from our students, teachers, and energy exchange volunteers throughout the evolution of our beloved studio.

We are deeply honoured to contribute to the diversity and well-being of our greater community. We want all to know that at MokSana, YOU are welcome.

As a gesture of our gratitude, we choose to celebrate the diverse and vital sectors of our community who contribute in countless ways towards our wellness, innovation, and unity.

Each month, our Community Matters initiative honours a specific sector for their distinct contribution, including but certainly not limited to: first responders, military service people, social workers, educators, artists & performers, nurses, small business owners/entrepreneurs, volunteers, non-profit community builders, IT professionals, health care support employees, indigenous people, recent immigrants & refugees, LGBTQ+ people, restaurant & retail employees and more.

Throughout each month, we welcome current and new members who self-identify as belonging to the Community Honouree of the Month to receive VIP benefits from MokSana and our in-studio partners:

- Purchase an Unlimited Monthly Pass for just $50
- 10% off upcoming special events and workshops
- 10% off all purchases at Beatnik | Goods Doing Good
- 25% off treatments by Satomi Kawamura (see Healing Arts Practitioners Page)
- 25% off Feldenkrais classes and workshops with RMT Judi Trost
- Free registration for our monthly Yoga 101 | Orientation for New & Returning Yogis session, hosted on the 3rd Friday of each month 7-9pm

The Honouree of the Month will be announced via newsletter and social media during the last week of the month. We aspire to create a ripple effect throughout our greater community. We welcome you to help spread our gratitude and honour to your friends and family, particularly those being celebrated.

We also welcome all suggestions for community groups you feel deserved to be honoured by MokSana. Contact us via email or Facebook to share your ideas.

We thank you for all that you do, all that you are, all that you contribute to the MokSana community.
